In these classes we will be combining art history and appreciation with hands on art projects and an introduction to basic techniques. We will begin in the 1400's with a study of Michelangelo , move through Rubens, Rembrandt, Linnaeus, and Blake, and finish in the 1700's with Hokusai. Along the way we will learn art words, styles, and techniques and experiment with different mediums. No previous art knowledge is required for this class and all projects, worksheets, and presentations are adaptable to a variety of skill and knowledge levels.
